1. Leaves and dust have accumulated in the extruded drainage channels, causing the drainage outlets to become clogged;
2. The EPDM weatherstripping has deteriorated, resulting in uneven compression gaps;
3. The waterproof sealant at the junction between the window frame and the roof has cracked.
Solution: Clear the drainage channels, replace the weatherstripping, and redo the waterproofing at the roof junction.
When connected to an external rain and wind sensor, the system automatically shuts off when a rain signal is detected; temperature sensors and smoke detectors can also be installed to trigger the system’s activation in conjunction with the factory’s fire suppression and smoke exhaust systems.
Under normal conditions, the rollers and drive components can withstand more than 40,000 opening and closing cycles; the motor is covered by a 2-year warranty, and the aluminum alloy frame is covered by a 10-year warranty.
1. Clean debris from the tracks and drainage channels every six months;
2. Apply lubricant to the roller tracks;
3. Check the seals for signs of aging or cracking;
4. Periodically tighten the screws securing the motor and rollers.
