Client’s Requirement:
The indoor roof of a swimming pool in the backyard of a villa meant building a mobile sunroom on the client’s steel structure. The client, who also had experience with sunrooms for mobile homes, valued practicality and cost-effectiveness—since the price of glass was too high, they chose polycarbonate panels with uv coating. T6 profile was required to ensure the mobile sunroom’s durability in harsh conditions.
Site condition:
The local climate is above 40 degrees, very hot, little wind and dusty. The project is in the backyard of the villa, the mobile sunroom product size 9208*6145mm, extension track 2340mm on each side, the track are installed on the steel structure. Workers installed the mobile sunroom for the first time, communication language barriers, but due to modular installation, the degree of installation is simple—similar to the easy assembly of sunroom mobile home products.
Design solution:
The customer requires electric power and the opening method is from the center to both sides. At the same time, it is required to open completely in the hole, and the mobile sunroom does not block the view after opening, which means that the extension track is used to make the mobile sunroom shrink outward—an design concept also applied in some mobile home with sunroom configurations. This flexible opening feature also makes it a practical alternative to a retractable sunroom, adapting to different weather needs.
Profile using white 6063-T6 100 * 68 * 5mm, C series 10068 * 5.0 thick, the top plate polycarbonate PC5mm thick transparent corner position through the galvanized steel, with bone stainless steel assembly socket head cap screws, sealing parts of the customized automotive-grade composite adhesive strips, ground wheel customized steel wheels to ensure load-bearing and smooth, electric, with a two-color light control, modular production, mounted panels to play a good glass adhesive delivery—all designed to make the mobile sunroom sturdy and suitable for Dubai’s climate, just like the durability required for sunrooms for mobile homes.
SGS Testing：
This mobile sunroom has passed the stringent testing by the international authority SGS, which as a global benchmark in the field of inspection and certification, conducts all-around testing on the product with its professional network and top laboratories all over the world. The test results show that the white 6063-T6 profile has stable strength under high temperature, the 5mm thick polycarbonate PC board has excellent anti-aging performance, the customized adhesive tape has good sealing, the steel wheels are load-bearing and smooth, and all the indexes have reached the international leading standard. This makes the mobile sunroom perfectly suited for the high temperature and sandy environment in Dubai, with reliable quality—meeting the same high standards expected for sunroom mobile home and mobile home with sunroom products, and even matching the durability of a high-quality retractable sunroom.
