The client wanted a multifunctional year-round leisure space, with efficient thermal insulation to adapt to the -20℃ to 32℃ temperature range, ample natural light while maintaining home privacy, and a modern minimalist style that balances aesthetics and practicality. The space also needed to serve as a garden terrace extension for family gatherings and recreation, with low long-term maintenance costs.

To meet the homeowner’s needs, we developed a tailored “Four-Season Adaptive Sunroom System” focused on stable performance and versatile functionality.

Climate Adaptive System: Triple-layer insulated Low-E tempered glass ensures winter heat retention and summer heat insulation, paired with smart ventilation skylights that auto-adjust to indoor and outdoor temperature and humidity for a comfortable indoor microclimate.

Reinforced Structure: 70-series thermally broken aluminum alloy frame withstands a snow load of 1.8kN/m², fully adapted to Slovakia’s heavy winter snowstorms, with a hidden drainage system to eliminate water accumulation and leakage in rainy and snowy weather.

Humanized Smart Configuration: Motorized sunshade system enables flexible light control; large folding glass doors create seamless indoor-outdoor integration, matching Slovakian suburban living habits; built-in LED ambient lighting supports nighttime leisure and gatherings.
Project Outcomes
This sunroom has become the family’s core leisure area, adding 32㎡ of multifunctional usable space and boosting the property’s overall value. It cuts winter heating energy consumption by 42%, delivers exceptional year-round comfort, and easily copes with Slovakia’s large seasonal temperature differences.
