A Top-Hung Skylight driven by a linear electric actuator that opens outward and upward; when opened, the sash tilts outward, providing ventilation while keeping rain out on rainy days. It is commonly used in sunrooms, villas, factory smoke exhaust systems, and pool canopies. The actuator delivers powerful thrust and has a higher load-bearing capacity than chain-driven window openers, making it suitable for large, heavy glass skylights.

Our factory’s standard configuration includes an IP67-rated waterproof aluminum alloy actuator housing, suitable for outdoor rooftop environments with high humidity and intense sunlight; the lead screw is treated to prevent rust.
When connected to an external rain and wind sensor, the system automatically shuts off when a rain signal is detected; temperature sensors and smoke detectors can also be installed to trigger the system’s activation in conjunction with the factory’s fire suppression and smoke exhaust systems.
Under normal conditions, it can withstand 30,000 to 50,000 opening and closing cycles; the motor comes with a 2-year warranty, and the aluminum profile frame comes with a 10-year warranty.
1. Clean dust from the drainage channel every six months.
2. Apply lubricating grease to prevent sticking, jamming, and motor wear.
3. Before the rainy season begins, inspect the weatherstripping and tighten the push-rod mounting screws.
4. When the sunroof is not in use for an extended period, keep it closed and locked.
